AI Instructor, North Queens Community High School · Founder, DateLift

I build software products, most recently DateLift, a tool that reads legal documents and puts their deadlines straight onto your calendar. I also teach AI to students who are getting a second chance at their diploma.

What I've built

DateLift Founder · solo build

DateLift reads a legal document, finds every date that matters inside it, and puts those dates straight onto your Outlook calendar so deadlines stop getting buried in a PDF nobody reopens.

How it works

STEP 1

Read the document

Scans an uploaded PDF using Azure Document Intelligence to pull out raw text and structure.

STEP 2

Find the dates

Picks out every meaningful date and deadline mentioned in the document.

STEP 3

Sync the calendar

Pushes each date to Outlook automatically via Microsoft Graph API with no copy-pasting.

A linear regression model built in class to predict daily temperature from historic weather data, used to teach students how raw numbers in a spreadsheet turn into a working prediction.

Teaching AI to students who are catching back up

Teaching AI and computer science at North Queens Community High School, with hands-on lessons built around real data.

North Queens Community High School is a NYC DOE transfer high school, a small school built for students ages 16 to 21 who've fallen behind on credits or left school before graduating. It gives students a second chance to catch up, pass their Regents exams, and earn a standard diploma.

Most of my students haven't had a smooth path through school, and many have never been told they could be good at something technical. I teach AI and computer science in a way that meets them where they are: practical, hands-on, and free of jargon until they've earned it.

  • AI and CS instruction for students working toward a standard diploma
  • Hands-on lessons built around real, visible data that students can see change as they work
  • Adult learners outside the DOE, taught the same material with the same care
  • Designed and ran a public AI 101 event for 200 attendees with no technical background
